Recently, Apple introduced its new iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro. iPhone 13 Mini replaced with iPhone 14 Plus. Should You Upgrade?
iPhone 14
Familiraity is one the key to success of Apple with the iPhone, therefore iPhone 14 is not radically different from previous iPhone models. The iPhone 14’s best feature is, it includes crash detection, which can notify emergency services, when ever you are in automobile accident.
While the iPhone14 has nearly same flate-sided design just like iPhone 13 and iPhone 12, but 14’s back-glass is easier and more affordable to repair since it’s no longer attached to internals.
so, if you are using iPhone 13, upgrading to 14 is not worth it, is $100 more of an improvement over the $699 iPhone 13? Probably not. But, if you are an early adopter who wants the latest and biggest tech, that is the one to buy.
iPhone 14 Pro
From the back iPhone 14 pro looks identical to last year’s iPhone 13 pro. But, don’t let the samness fool you. The display notch, that defined previous Face ID iPhone models, has morphed into a pill-shaped screen cutout that can show system alerts and background activities like when you receive a call or play music. Apple calls this functionality the Dynamic Island.
This is the one feature that all the reviewers spent a long time talking about. It’s markedly different from anything Apple has done before.

Design
This year, Apple comes with two phone size 6.1 and 6.7 inches in both base and Pro versions. iPhone 14 Pro versions have Dynamic Island, that notch holds selfie camera and Face ID sensors. Pro versions have ProMotion technology with adaptive refreshing rate up to 120Hz, Always-on Display and 2,000 nits peak brightness (outdoor). iPhone 14 Pro has Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, Ceramic Shielf front, Textured matte glass back and stainless steel design.

iPhone 14 and 14 Plus have older A15 Bionic chip however, iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have A16 Bionic chip. Both 14 and 14 Pro have Crash Detetction and Emergency SOS via satellite safety systems. Battery of Pro versions is all-day however, it is feel like draining fast because of Always-on Display.
Camera Performance
iPhone 14 and 14 Pro have huge difference in camera performance base models have 12-megapixel sensor and Pro models have 48-megapixel sensor, and company’s new new image processing technique called Photonic Engine. Pro models also have third sensor Telephoto. Pro models captured picture in great details and stabilize helps reduce chances of shake-induced blur when taking picture in low light and video recording like gimbal-smooth. You have to set it to RAW to use full 48-megapixel which gives you larger file and more data to work while editing. It has a 4k cinematic mode footage at 24 fps.
